Dear Boulder Bluff Fans,
It’s been over a month since we’ve updated you on the progress. We hope you had a great time during the holidays meeting with friends and family, cherishing time with your loved ones (as we did). We’d like to tell all of you once again: thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and your patience.
We have some great news for all of you! The Mass Production sample arrivedjust a couple of hours ago! It looks and feels amazing, and a proper unboxing video will follow soon. But I couldn't keep you waiting and wanted to show you an early picture already.
Yes, there are no more climbing harnesses on the cover, the rulebook has orange letters, and we have made some changes to the artwork of the cards here and there to be more inclusive. We listened to the community, and we're certain you'll love it!

Production & Distribution Update 📦
We are happy to announce that the mass production is going as planned. We're clocking in exactly as scheduled, for now. We're now reviewing the MPS (Mass Production Sample) and are ready to give the green light soon!
Likewise, we've signed an agreement with Meeples Distribution, an experienced Dutch distribution company specialized in logistics for Board Games. This partnership ensures the sharpest shipping rates and best user experience for you!
Next Steps: BackerKit Survey & Frequent Updates
Early next month, we’ll invite you on the BackerKit platform. It will make the process easy for you to manage your pledge. You will be updated well ahead of time to collect this information and make sure the experience is as smooth as possible for you.

Thanks to your continued support, feedback and energizing enthusiasm, we've made it to the end of the campaign and raised over $20K! You're the reason we did this, and the reason why this worked! The team is now hard at work to get production and logistics done.
What's next?
For the experienced Kickstarters, this is standard procedure. But for first time backers, here's a quick rundown of what will happen:
1. Payments
Kickstarter will now process your payment. This can take up to 10-14 days for the payments to be processed. We don't have any control over this process as Kickstarter handles all of the payment processing. Please be patient, but let us know if we can help you at all.
FAQ: What happens if my payment failed?
Kickstarter will send you instructions on what to do and attempt to process your pledge using the credit card you provided. We understand that some of you may have encountered issues, so Kickstarter will make another attempt in the coming days. Often, the problem relates to 'two-factor authorization.' Please pay closer attention to your bank's messages in the upcoming days. Additionally, this might occur if your card has expired or if the payment has been flagged as fraudulent (which happens quite frequently). Here are some possible solutions:
Ensure that you are logged into your Kickstarter account.
If you're experiencing issues with the first card, try using a different one.
Contact your bank to resolve any card-related issues (sometimes, you simply need to authorize the payment).
Follow the steps Kickstarter advises, and they will re-charge your card in a few days. If the problem persist, email [email protected]. If it that doesn't work, message us at [email protected] and we will help resolve the issue.
2. Pledge Manager / BackerKit
In the next few weeks, we will email you a link to our Pledge Manager and instructions on how to use the Pledge Manager. No need to worry...it is easy!
There will be a website where you will be able to login and manage your pledge to Boulder Bluff. This will allow you to:
Enter your shipping address
UPGRADE your Pledge/Add Stuff
Pay the remaining balance (shipping costs & VAT (if required) + any chosen upgrades)
3. Working hard to get Boulder Bluff to you!
We've been preparing and closing deals to get Boulder Bluff to you as soon as we can! All design files are already with our production partner, and we're ready to get this done at full speed. We have an exciting path in front of us, and we're looking forward to doing the best we can!
We are on schedule to deliver Boulder Bluff from May. We will have further updates on how the manufacturing process goes, if any unforeseen delays we will make it clear to you. But for now, we're 100% on track!
4. Late pledges
We've allowed Kickstarter to still take some late pledges at this point of time. Prices for all rewards have gone up, and once they are sold out, they are...sold out. So if you happen to know someone who missed the deadline but still wants in, it's possible!
